At the MEB Foundation, we are thrilled to be named the benefiting charity of the Carlsbad 5000. This race holds a special place in Meb's heart, and truly embodies the spirit of running and community. We are excited to inspire and support the next generation of runners with this partnership, while promoting health and fitness in Southern California.
MEB Foundation x Carlsbad 5000
The Carlsbad 5000, the internationally renowned road race known as the “World’s Fastest 5K,” announced a new partnership with the MEB Foundation as its official charity partner. This five-year agreement, beginning in 2025, will bring together two organizations dedicated to promoting health, education, and fitness for youth.
The MEB Foundation is committed to supporting programs and events that promote youth health, education, and fitness, which aligns perfectly with the Carlsbad 5000’s goal of encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle through running.
The partnership will kick off with the 2025 Carlsbad 5000, scheduled for April 6, 2025. Participants, volunteers, and supporters will have numerous opportunities to engage with the MEB Foundation and contribute to its mission through various fundraising activities and events leading up to and during race day.
